When banks become digital cafes…

I came across an article in boston.com detailing how Capital One 360 is opening up a bank/café in Boston. For those of you who are unfamiliar with Capitol One 360, they are known for offering a free checking account that has no overdraft charges, no ATM surcharges and no monthly free. And oh yeah, banking is done completely online with no physical branches.

It will be interesting to see how this café/bank concept catches on. Digitally savvy professionals and entrepreneurs are always searching for places that are wifi accessible and friendly towards virtual workers.
